The old Beaumonts are very fine well made rifles, and are a blast to fire. With the right load they are very accurate as you can see by the 100 yard target.

The Ammo is made by sleeving a 45-70 Gov case with a 33mm sleeve cut from a 32 ga shotshell, held in place by super glue, then fireformed. The projectile is a 45-70 cast. I use bullseye pistol powder and a dacron wad for the propellant.

I think you have seen this one Greg, IIRC you were there at Sumac the day I fired that target. I believe it was the day we met, but am not positive. Or, was it the day I bought the "pimped" chromed "Crack-kano" from you, just to get a screw off of it?

I don't remember that one, but maybe your right. What ever happened to to the rest of the pimped out Carcano?

I still have it hid out in the shop with the one screw missing! Missing it are you , and would like to see it again?

Look up Buffalo Arms. They sell the old Dutch ammo.
