Stayed up last night and finished up all of the reloading I needed to do before I go back North tomorrow. The boys are going to hunt around the homestead again this year, so I loaded up some 45/70 for the Trapdoor Springfield, some 30-30, and 308. The 2 ATV's are getting the finishing touchs, so they should be ready to go. They have been counting the days to when Moose Season opens. First day of Grouse was yesterday.
I go to work until the end of the month, and then off to camp from there. Hopefully someone is lucky this year, as the older they get, the more they eat.:)

SAC- I have been sold on Win 748 for the 308. I have used about every major brand of bullet; this year it is 150 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips. I am a bit quirky on bullets; almost always use Hornady in the 6.5; 358 Win gets Speer as the Noslers are so hard to find in that caliber.

my brother loves the baltips he says they do a number on deer. the last year or two he has been experimenting with other bullets. he has told me time and again that the best bullets he ever used was speer grandslam(i think). they have the bonded core.
like i said above the honandy bullets are great for accuracy in the small callibers and for a target bullet in my 308 the 155A-max is tops.
i had some 748 hard to find reloading data on the 308...local shop didnt have much and i didnt have much i think i used the net to find a starting point.
hope you knockem down!
