....the T99-as I was cleaning grime off the day after I got it-he did nothing to it for 60 years...

...the Samurai sword...when he got it,it had no grip,it was in a surrender pile...fr8dude is quite skilled in woodwork and in no time flat made me an as correct replica grip and wrap with what he had available...I've been able to determin that this is a Late Edo Period sword dating to early 1900's...the charachters on the tang show the maker as Kanamaru-and owner name Hideshige...
