i have wanted for a very long time a replica remington (forget the model number) bisson revolver with the looooong barrel. well the other day at the gunshop they had just gotten in something close to what i wanted. its on the colt patern without the backstrap(RATS!). 44cal made in italy

while i cannot shoot it yet or even have the makins for shooting it. new york state...i need to get my pistol permit before i can shoot it, lots of rigamorrow to go through not to mention money! ny is funny...you cannot own a pistol(firearm) without a permit however as long as you do not have the stuff to load a bp pistol your ok...wish they would get their stuff straight here. either make it so you cannot own them or make it ok for you to own and shoot them. sheeeesh!
this is along the lines of the remington i wanted and in a pinch fits into what i wanted for the three or four pistols i would like. the others are a ruger 22 mk2 target, a 1911 or clone, and posibly if i could manage to afford it an xp100, or contender.
until now i havent had much intereast in pistols, shotguns too. i know very little to nothing about them. i cant see paying $80 for a single shot h&r shotgun and dont have the pistol permit so i just forgot about them. now however i need to look into the permit so i can play with this thing!

if anyone knows any info about this thing please let me know. while i am not going to shoot it until i get my permit i would like to know a little about loads for it. thanks for your time!

It's brass framed.Has never been fired and we have the original box for it.There were only 5000 of those made and it says "1 of 5000" on it.I'll find out the price if you want and let you know.As I remember it is around $250.

the one at the shop must be an uberty to warrant that much.
thanks for your input!
