*November '06 hunting pix on public land in SC*

In this picture you can see a swamp that his been drained & then replanted with corn. I've never seen this before in my travels on public land. Deer tracks everywhere. There were so many deer tracks around in this area that it was very, very difficult to track them in and out of the area. Amy took this picture. Anja is smiling with an ear of corn. And in the background is yours truly. I would say that at this point most of the corn was either rotted, bug infested or eaten by the deer. During duck season this swamp is about two feet deep with water. It is protected wetlands. Pretty cool eh? :grinning-thumbsup:

This picture is a self portrait(?) of the three of us as we settled in. The weather was awesome. And the company was fantastic as well. As you can see, I was surrounded by two of the leading ladies in my life. :D

We were clowning around when we took this picture. As you can see the sun is nowhere in sight so we figured who cares if we use the flash? An awesome day. This was the very first time Amy had ever been deer hunting! :)
