I inherited a double barrel shotgun that my father obtained in a gun trade about 50 years ago. It is a beautiful gun but the only identifying words are
"Union Armera S.L. EIBAR".
I haven't found anything with Google searches.
Would appreciate any info.
Thanks.

EIBAR is a Spanish city where various firearms have been manufactured for years.

That's all the help I can be.

yahoo gave me this.

Grulla Armas
Grulla Armas S.L., of Eibar, Spain was founded in 1932 as the Union Armera. In the 1980s, Jose Luis Usobiaga, now the managing director, engineered a buyout and the men who actually built the guns became the owners. In 1985 the name was changed to Grulla which has been the trade mark of the company since inception.

Today, Grulla is one of the largest of the custom gun houses with about a dozen makers and a force of apprentices that seems to assure the longevity of the firm. Jose Luis and his cohorts have moved far beyond the old Union Armera in quality. Author Terry Wieland featured Grulla in an article published by The Shooting Sportsman in their March, 2000 edition.

We generally have guns in stock from Grulla's 215 K Special Game Gun (12 Gauges starting at $4,306) to the 20 Gauge Royal, the favorite of His Majesty Juan Carlos of Spain. Of course, the fine Grulla side by side shotguns are available in all bores from 12 through .410. The wait for a custom (bespoke) gun is five to six months for the lower grades, while the Royals take about a year.

good morning Calvert hope this is helpfull. i have the same gun. On the trigger guard, in fact where your hand lays and where one of the mounting screws are should be a letter M and some numbers and letter ie like mine 210E.

These are very good to excellent guns. I use mine on special occasions like pheasant and other light bird hunting. In my humble opinion don't use this gun on ducks and geese as it is like taking a rolls royce to a demolition derby. enjoy it take good care of it. They are excellent guns. Mike Owen BC, Canada
