Each day I will post a photo of a 'mystery mauser', for everyone to try and identify. The guns may not always be mausers, but 'mystery mauser' has more of a ring to in than 'mystery gun'.....:laughing3:

The country that commissioned this mauser was one of the Mauser Companies most active customers. The rifle was a 7.65x53mm and was not the original gun commissioned, rather was substituted to fill the remainder of the contract.
