isnt that the m24 from the remington site?
i had a 22-250vs, could never get it to shoot so i walked away from it. the one i had had a 24" barrel. i did however take two deer with it! i used the 62gr seiarra semi points. they would enter and then explode internaly, masive damage. i by the way loaded for accuracy...not that it helped much.

That pic was posted on an Guns America (or another auction site) a while back..

Mine has the 26" heavy bull barrel, 6-18x50 Bushnell and will stack factory Remington 55 grn PSP's..

cool glad to hear you got a good one. after my exp with the one i had i really dont care that much for the higher speed 22 centerfires. i am looking forward to someday getting a 222(probably built on my 40-X receiver), and building a 22ppc(probably built on a mini mauser).
i can say this for the loading i made up for the 22-250, it was devestating with the damage it did. kind of turned everthing into jello. the bullet exploded and left a collum of devestation along the its path.

Believe it or not, the 55 grn psp actually holds up real well. I've actually had exit wounds on good many deer that I have shot w/ 22-250.

If the bullet strikes the spine dead on, I may not get an exit wound.

My prefereed shot w/ that caliber is to get the deer quartering to me. I'll place the shot at the base of the neck, and let it cross and bury on the opposing shoulder, or exit just behind the opposing shoulder. All kinds of vital stuff in that area to mess up...spine, windpipe, main arteries and veins, possibly the heart and lungs if needed. The internals on the front end are usually a big gooey mess.

"For Waldo". My M-1917 Winchester contract .30-06 rifle, that is sported, but not by me though. This rifle, Ladies and Gents is my "Go To" rifle I need to dispatch a deer or varmints. One hole accurate at an amazing distance too. ;) The "critters" can run, but they'll only die tired. LOL! :headbanger:

Thanks to Pete, and Waldo for the "Thanks". I know it doesn't look like a Kimber or a WBY., but I know it'll holds it own against anything. ;)

Very Nice! what scope is that?

It is a Redfield generic 3x-9x-40mm scope. $189.00 Wally World special. Thank you for the compliment as well. The open sights are worthless on this rifle and it was not sported by me.

Hey Waldo, Did you know this same exact action can hold up to the wildcat caliber, .411 Hawk too? This .411 Hawk looks like a straight walled .30-06 piece of brass and is a "killer" on even Alaskan bears too. And folks call my rifle old and outdated, BAH! LOL! ;)

This same action has been known to become a home for some WBY. rounds too. I have seen them sported with WBY. rounds as the "engine" too.
