i have gotten my 308 and turdsniper back up and running again. dad put up a new target board for me, but when i leveled my lawn i had to rip out my shooting table. anyhow i can still shoot so i need to get at it.
the turdsniper needs to be sighted in since i had the scope off of it and its been worked over with new crown, new headspacing, and last of all glass bedding! the 308 i did not do anything but weld the bolt handle back on to the bolt. i finaly got some more of the 155gr a-max bullets only to find they have been changed since the single box i got when they first came out...this scares me since the original incarnation of this bullet was awesome in my rifle. the first ones had a large plastic tip while these current production bullets have a much smaller plastic tip. i will see if i can post a pic of them!
anyhow its been a long time since i have been able to do some target shooting, will be really good to punch some holes again.

heres a pic of two of the old 155gr a-max on the left with one of the current bullets on the right. very different, just hope that these shoot something like the original bullets did!
they would not just be touching at 100 yards but they would print ontop of eachother. amazing bullets out of my 308.
