New 22

Picked up a Ithaca Model 49 single shot yesterday here in OTZ. It has been "Bush modified"; the sights have been changed, and the fake mag tube removed, with a different forearm on it now. The lever has been broken, but there is still enough there to work the action. This is the first 22 I ever hunted with, shooting gophers with one back on my Grandpa's farm in South Dakota. Checked around, and I can still get parts for it.

I remember those. My Dad wanted to buy one until I told him it was a single shot. The salesman got PO'd at me for killing the sale.
