Here are my two absolute favorites. The picture contains my all matching Winchester Garand and all matching Rockola Carbine (the 1911 is a modern Rock Island).

I got the carbine in a pawnshop and the Winchester at Antique and Modern Firearms in Lexington, Ky. The Garand cost me $800 and had the uncut op rod.

Well, I have been buying firearms since I was 16. I just hit it lucky around here. JB’s Gun and Archery has been my hot spot for around 15 years. The pawnshop is down the road and has some nice stuff on occasion (no deals with them). Jeff (at JB’s) will let me lay them away with very little down and pay each month. I have had some higher priced items sit around on layaway for a year. I have spent thousands over the years there; Jeff knows I am good for it. Get out there and look guys, there is a deal waiting. I must say I won’t be spending much for a while, as my fiancée’s daughter has been very ill for a number of months now. She is getting better and going to start back to school this January. But we went deep in debt and are paying it off now. Maybe by summer I can start looking again at buy some more.
