I picked this one up on Gunbroker a couple of months ago. I've only been to the range with her once I think. I put about 60 rounds down range. I am here to tell you ladies & gentlemen - this thing rocks!

There is some interesting history in the development of the AR180 which goes back to the late '60's & early 70's. Some of them can be quite pricey as well. Some were made by Howa in Japan, some were made by Sterling in England, and some were made by Costa Mesa in California.

The AR180b series are a little different. The lower is made of a hardened plastic like on a Glock or something along those lines. While the old generation of AR180's had to have special magazines, the AR180b will take just about any standard AR15 type magazine.

It is very light compared to an AR15. And it is extremely easy and fun to shoot. It comes apart quickly for maintenance or cleaning as well.

All in all, I must say I've enjoyed this Armalite. I took her shooting about 6 weeks ago with some friends from work who brought their AR15's. My shot groups were a little tighter than theirs (of course I think they were just spraying lead down range). :xxrotflmao:

Hope you enjoyed the pictures. My son Zachary helped me build a light cage which shows off the rifles better than before. I think he did good!
