Ruger SR9 issues

OK everyone I was at the practice range at Bass Pro in Springfield Mo, The guy running the range told me that as of late he has had 3 owners of Ruger SR9 shooting there and there pistol start firing auto. Has anyone else heard of this? He said that one of their regulars shooters who experienced this contacted Ruger and they took his SR9 in for repair. I just wanted to know if anyone else has heard such stories?

I know Ruger has issued a recall on the SR-9 based on "safety issues" but nothing concerning full auto firing.
