- New sub forum header picture -

The posted picture is of my AX1940. I recieved her as a gift knowing that she needed some help. I cleaned up the metal and scrubbed out the bore so many times I used up my cache of 32 cal bore brushes. I had Fred over at LowTech recrown her for me as well. However, she never hit the paper at one hundred yards.

So, I purchased a minty barrel on the internet. Fred did his magic and now she hits the paper at one hundred yards. In fact, I am going to shoot her on the upcoming MSA Battle for Stalingrad shoot. We shall see!

Thanks for posting the picture up in the header. I think it is one of the best k98 pictures around! :grinning-thumbsup:

Truth be told, every dog has his day. I know, I know, a lame play on words but what else can I say? That picture took about three to four hours to get right. No kidding. I ended up taking over two hundred pictures to get this one {thank God for digital cameras}.

Maybe we should have a contest and get other to submit, and post the picture that they think should be the next sub forum header picture for the next month? And so on, and so forth? :dontknow:
