I'm gonna use the KISS method on this one guys. Rules are as follows.

1. find your target here:http://www.targetz.com/targets01.htm
It is target number 10001 (the first one that comes up)

2. This is a North vs. South shoot using the accepted lines from The War of Northern Aggression.:D Foreigners (this means you Duncan) will go by whether you are north or south of the Equator.:cool-smiley-1:

3. Targets can either be scanned or mailed to xpertgreg@hotmail.com (contact me if you wish to send it snail mail)

4. Targets will be placed at 100 yards.

5. Shooter can choose whatever shooting position he or she wants.

6. There will be two classes scoped and iron sights.

7. Weapons must be classified as C&R by the ATF.

8. any ammo is legal, shoot what ya got!

9. Please label your target with name, state, etc.

10. Targets must be in my grubby little hands no later than August 15, 2008.:grinning-thumbsup:

11. groups will be five shots measured from the center of the bull.

12. Each contestant may enter each class with one target only.

13. I will score the targets and average them into North vs. South and then announce the winner.

14. The best overall single target sent to me will receive a prize.

BUMP!!

Hey Folks!

Greg tells me he has no entries yet, so get out to the range and have some fun! Time's passing pretty quick..

I'm heading out today. You wouldn't want an overweight, half-blind, bifocal wearing, middle-aged guy who lives in SEATTLE, for pities sake, to show you up, now would you?!?;)

Well if we go by the Mason-Dixon ... NM was a Territory (Military Department #9) and for the most part when the CW broke out it went NORTHERN ... Only did the Southern Area of NM near El Paso go Southern.
When the Neuvo Mexicanos heard that the Texans invaded alot of them joined in the various NM Volunteer Infantry Regiments such as the 1st NM Vol. Inf. under the command of Col. Christopher "Kit" Carson.
He raised a flag on his homestead up in Taos, NM before heading to join the Union Army at Ft. Union and it was guarded by his wife with a shotgun until he returned back in 1865. No one even tried to tear it down. To this day at his home up there a flag flies 24 hours a day.

Thanks! Would have been much better if I hadn't shanked that last shot and doubled the group size....:BangHead:

Had a good time at the range. Of course ANY time at the range is a good time at the range!:grinning-thumbsup: Kind of fun with the Rangemaster trying to coach me once he figured out what the heck I was up to...
