Smith and Wesson 32 SA! 32 s&W caliber. Made from 1878 to 1892. :D

After further research I'm going to give it to you sc...........
It was described as a model one..... but on this web site it looks to me like you nailed it.... At any rate there seems to be alot of variation in what is called a model one.... Here it is on this site just as you described, so here you go..........:D

Man...I earned 3 days off for ID'ing that one. I had a Forehand and Wadsworth once very similar to that, but it had a trigger guard. Then by the grip and the pin positions on the sideplate, I recognized it as a S&W. (Or at least I thought that it was.) Dug through some references to figure out the rest.
