According to one of my buddies on the local PD, almost the ONLY criminals that get caught are the dumb ones.....

just a few weeks ago this guy steals signed checks from a cheese plant near here. then goes 7mi to the next nearest town to cash them at the drive up window...clerk asks for his drivers licsence and gets her manager...crook drives off....you can figure out the rest.
yep the police look at the drivers licesnce and go grab the flunky! while at the county jail he boasts he can steal from anyone with out them knowing it even the county sherifs!
now heres the best part of the story folks...this is #3 felony for this flunky!
