....yeah....I heard....:( ....always got a kick out of listening to the games on the radio when the announcers would be crackin' about "Puckett the big bucket" running the bases....referring to his rear end...;) ....I hope he's doin' battin' practice in Heaven...:grinning-thumbsup:

I saw a profile on him after he died. He had gained a LOT of weight and his life had pretty much gone down the crapper to a great extent. It was pretty sad.

Loved the big guy. I grew up in Minnesota, so we were always rooting for the King of the Outfield and the Twins.

Well, even though I was a Braves fan and Kirby basically beat the Braves in game 7 of the World Series and all, I still liked the guy. He was a good player and I enjoyed watching him play baseball. It is a shame what happened to him.
