I'd say that's 'close enough'.........:xxrotflmao:

Here's the ID that Blind Hog gave me.......

It's a Lignose model 3, Taschen-Pistole (pocket pistol), 6.35m/m, nine shot magazine.

Great Job!!! :grinning-thumbsup: :D

Vic, congrats well done.

You're partially correct, It is a Lignose and is from a Bergmann patent of a Wytold Chylewski design.
This one is a Model 3, the Model 3A is the Einhand or "one hand cocking". There are four models in the series. The Models 2 and 3, six and nine rounds respectively and the Models 2A and 3A Einhands, six and nine rounds.
The Einhand models are quite unique in that what is the front trigger guard is attached to the slide and can be pulled back to cock the pistol with one hand.

Bling Hog,

I have heard of the models with the one hand cocking being model 3a, as opposed to model 3. I guess I should have known that the "Einhand" was describing the "one hand cocking model" but my german isn't very good. ;)

You definitely know more about them than I do...I just recalled seeing a photo of one in a book before and I recognized it by the odd safety...I do not recall seeing a safety like that on any other pistol. :)
