Mauser 1914/34

Yesterday, at a nearby gun show acquired what I believe to be a Commercial 1914/34 Mauser (Pender, "Mauser Pocket Pistols 1910-1946"). Serial is 466968, Crown/crown/U proof, high polish blue (salt) with fire blue small parts, black plastic WM grips. Waffenfabrik Mauser two line address, Cal. 7.65. Magazine is square front floorplate with Mauser banner. Barrel muzzle is in the white.

I have searched for quite sometime for this variation, I am well pleased with this one.

Thank you, it is a variation that was high on my want list. A variation not often encountered.

It was a pure luck acquisition. At the show I was looking over a display of small pocket pistols. Although there were some neat and obscure models available, all had some degree of a problem. Such as condition, wrong part, missing parts, etc.
During the conversation with the vendor I mentioned that I collected pocket and vest pocket pistols. He said, "oh really, I have something you may interested in". He rumaged around under his table and came up with the Mauser in a Makarov holster and spare reproduction magazine. Needless to say, I brought the rig home. :)

Really nice gun! My dad brought one just like it back from WWII complete with the original holster and belt with the German Swastika on the buckle. If you are interested I will post pics.
