For those of you that have reloaded the Lapua D-166 200 grain .3095 stuff it should work well in you m/39s. Also the Lapua D-47 170gr stuff works well too.

RGRWJB, I use the Hotshot ammo by Century in my M-39, it will cut one ragged hole at 100 yards, 20 rounds, and this is also S.P. ammo too. My M-39 is a Sessie by birth and a SAKO by "adoption" too. ;)

All the mosins are like fingerprints. All slightly differant when it comes to accuracy. Some like some ammo others like other ammo. Its sounds like you have a tack driver. Congrats

I know that all too well. ;) I reckon I got me a good one then. I plan to use it for deer whenever the work schedule gets a bit lighter here where I work during our busy holiday rush.
