Krag Jorgensen 3040

I am looking at a Krag Jorgensen rifle from WWII that has swastikas/eagles embossed on it. There is a serial number on it 421. I need to know how I can find out what this gun is worth.

Welcome to the forum!

Are you sure the Krag you are looking at is a US model in 30/40? I'd think it would more likely be either a Danish in 8mm or a Norwegian in 6.5mm, as both these countries were under German occupation during WWII.

If you could post some pictures, it would really help.

Hi,

your Krag was produced in 1944 by Waffenfabrik Kongsberg, Norway, as 'Nb 1944' points out. And it is a Model 1894.
