It was a beautiful day in Seattle, so some friends and I headed out to the range after work today. I was particularly eager to try out the Swede Mauser I've not had a chance to shoot since mounting a scope on it.
Here's the rifle:

It's a M96/38 dated 1915 with a S&K scout mount and an NC Star 2x7 EER scope.
After getting it sighted in, I got down to work and was very pleased! This is a typical target:

This was done with Winchester SuperX 140 grain SP ammo, off a supported bench at 100 yards. Not bad for my first time out with it! BTW, the top left target was shot with my Swiss K31, my REALLY accurate rifle...
