May just be a Chilean 95 Carbine (no cavalry, but I threw that in for good measure.)

I have one of those myself, but the front sight is different. Are there other carbine variations?

Congrats Vic, You are becoming a MauserMeister. :grinning-thumbsup:

Mosko, honestly I do not know if there are other variations of the Chilean '95 carbines. In addition to the Chilean '95 carbine and rifle there is also a short rifle. How about a photo of your's for comparison.
