Hi All,
I'm not too sure if I'm in the right place but I've recently gotten in to clay pigeon shooting on a recreational basis and was as a result given a single barrel shotgun by a neighbour of mine to find some inform ation on it and whether or not it has any monetary value today. From what I can make out it was made by Weekes & Co. Dublin, Ireland as this is engraved on the gun. It is single barrel as I've said and is fired by means of cocking a hammer located on the right hand side of the gun which then engages the exposed end of the firing pin. The gun is opened by means of a handle which runs underbeath the trigger gaurd. This is pushed to the side in order to break the gun. I will be taking some pics soon and I can post them here if they would help anyone to supply some info on it for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Chris
