I have acquired this gun from my father that before his passing was at one time a collector. I have no idea what I have, and the information available is all over the place as far as if this truly is a collectable and its value. Any information that I can get would be very helpful.

Thanks , Barbara

Welcome. If you could post pictures and a little more info on the, I presume, pistol unless Blind Hog knows what it is.

Hi Barbara,
As Rad says, photos and more information on markings are required to positively determine what you have and its collectibility and value. I believe it is a Hungarian Femaru pistol make in 1941 for the German Army under Nazi occupation. If so it should have a German Army Acceptance stamp on the left trigger guard web which would be either a small Eagle over a 58 or an E/WaA58. If you cannot post photos at least let us know the serial number (if you wish you can use X's for the last two numbers) and a description of the condition so we can give you a rough idea of what you have.

Hello Barbara,

Put some digital pictures up if you get the chance. Pictures really do tell a thousand words.

Sorry for the loss of your father.
