OK...I looked it up...definitely a '76. Impressive ID CoorsLightGuy. :grinning-thumbsup: There were only minor differences in the '76 from the '73 (loading gate and size of receiver, and maybe a longer barrel). You truly know your Winchesters! :occasion14:
Any lever action Winchester is a '73 or a '94 to my untrained eye! :icon_pirat:

The 76's were chambered in larger calibers than the 73's weren't they? I don't know all that much about the old lever guns? Used my fathers model 94 for deer as a young'in but hated it...... now I wish I had one.....:dontknow: :xxrotflmao:

Hehehe..........not as impressive as you boys think. I cheated like Hell. All I did was right click the photo, select properties and I saw:

Roy, forgot to rename the photo. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
That being said, I'm not a TOTAL idiot. I did know it was a Winchester Lever-Action rifle, just wasn't sure of the date.
