Hi Guys
Sorry for intruding on your forum but I though one of you might be able to help with a Question i have......
I own a Finland made Finwolf Lever action VL63 in 308 caliber thats made by ( SAKO I beleive ) and I'm trying to find out WHY! mine is spelled differently than others I have found.....
MINE is stamped with Finwolf but others I've found on line that look JUST like mine are spelled with two n's Finnwolf---- Finwolf vs Finnwolf ----
Can anyone give me the history of this change in spelling... I've been told that some have seen this guns packageing with this spelling ( Finwolf ) but no one has seen the Rifle Stamped with this spelling..
This single N spelling makes me question if I have a rare collectors piece...
Im thinking maybe a TYPO in the barrels stamping process ...... Or possibly a CHINA made Knock off.... BTW and FYI Im not intrested in selling this gun but plan to pass it down in our Family... I'm just very curious as to why the differnce in the spelling... Thanks
