The first book (5 1/2" x 8" softbound) is called "In The Gravest Extreme" written by Massad Ayoob back in the late 70's about defensive handgun shooting. It has 130 pages with various b/w photos. Book is in really good shape for its age with no tears, rips or cut-outs.

The second book (5" x 7" hardbound) is called "Practical Manual of Guns" written by Maurice Decker in 1946. There's 192 pages dealing with different aspects on handguns and rifles. Book is also in pretty good shape. "Newt Jr. to Hugh, Dec. 9, 1947" is written in pencil on the inside cover. There's various diagrams of firearms shown.

Both for $20 which includes USPS shipping. If interested, please contact ron91335@hotmail.com

I purchased the breakfront holster back in 1977. It's in really good condition being over 30 years old. There's no missing screws, bolts etc.

I'm including the 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" catalog brochure that came with the holster. Fits a 4" medium K frame revolver or similar, made of thick synthetic material and lined to protect your pistol. The loop will fit any belt up to 2 1/4". It has a tension adjustment screw and an internal lock to secure your pistol along with an inside thumb break. (shown on the front is a dummy snap release) The front of the holster is fully closed when your pistol is seated.

The holster was designed and sold by Bill Rogers who had a manufacturing firm in Jacksonville Florida called Rogers Holster Co. He was the one who came up with the internal locking retention method. He also was considered the father of the synthetic gun holster which was starting to gain popularity back then.

His business was purchased by Safariland who incorporated his synthetic holsters into their own line of products. Bill came on board with Safariland when he sold his company.

Selling for $50 includes USPS shipping. You can contact me direct at ron91335@hotmail.com
