Well, it will be a spell before I buy anything I guess. Bought an SUV on e-bay last night..... well there goes all the spending cash.........:dontknow: :(

Now I have to fly into Chicago and drive it home..... unfortunately that will have to wait until Mon. too much to finish up at work the rest of the week....:dontknow: As luck would have it though I got a ticket for $55 total total!! That's the cheapest I've ever flew anywhere!!:grinning-thumbsup:

Any volunteers to watch the Mystery Mauser on Mon and post a new one on Tuesday morning?? I'll likely still be traveling back come Tues morning?

Biggest thing that I ever bought on ebay was some guitars. Used to by and sell geeters alot in the late 90's...don't do much anymore.

I've heard rumors of people buying a vechicle off the internet, but thought it was only rumors. Guess I was wrong. And to think you didn't even get to kick the tires.

Rockman,

I bought 2 SG's off of ebay. One was a '92 standard, the other was a '62 reissue. The '62 reissue kicked butt, but I tend to press to hard on the neck while playing, and the neck joint in SG's is a bit weaker than other guitars, so I was constantly going out of tune when playing, but if you checked it would be back in tune. I finally figured out that it was the pressure slightly bending the neck. I have no problems with Les Pauls or Strats doing that. I guess I'm a bit aggressive...;)

Right now I have a Cherry Sunburst '85 Gibson Les Paul Standard, a Frankenstrat ('40th anniversary sunburst US Fender body and tremolo, '89 US tbx controls, '89 US strat pickups, US Fender tuning keys, Warmouth highly figured birdseye maple neck with ebony fretboard, Fender mint green pick guard...all US, all Fender or licensed by Fender) and a late '70's Ovation acoustic/elect. made in Conn.

SC-Closer, Sounds like you have a nice collection, I'd like to see them if possible, especially the one with the mint colored pickguard too. I'm drooling now, and will lose some needed sleep. LOL! Sounds awesome indeed.
