Volunteer Hosting will be performing a scheduled infrastructure upgrade between Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 11:00PM EDT and Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 5:00AM EDT.

All services will be accessible intermittently during the maintenance window. There will be intermittent service or slowness during the maintenance window. This network upgrade is being performed in an effort to drastically increase performance, etc.

Just a reminder that the previously announced infrastructure upgrade announced earlier is scheduled for tomorrow night; between Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 11:00PM EDT and Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 5:00AM EDT.

It appears that the upgrades went well last night (I think they got around to the segment our server resides around 3-4am).

It does seem that the performance seems to be better today than it was the day before, which was the whole point of the upgrades. They were all performance related and should help with maintaining speed and efficiency even during heavy network traffic.

I'm unsticking this thread so that it will drop to the bottom over time.

Volunteer Hosting will be performing scheduled maintenance on several name servers between Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 11:00PM ET and Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 5:00AM ET.

Due to this maintenance, some services will be accessible intermittently during this time. There will be intermittent service or slowness during the maintenance window. This upgrade is needed to conduct preventative maintenance to ensure that we do not experience unnecessary downtime in the future.
