Doctor Tom

Doctor Tom had slept with one of his patients and felt guilty all day long. No matter how much he tried to forget about it, he just could not. The guilt and sense of betrayal was overwhelming. However, every once in a while, he would hear an internal, reassuring voice in his head that said: "Tom, don't worry about it. You are not the first medical practitioner to sleep with one of their patients and you will not be the last. And you're single. Just let it go."

However, invariably another voice in his head would bring him back to reality, whispering:

"Tom............."

"Tom............."

"Tom............."

"You're a veterinarian...................."

Wisdom forced me to move from Wasington State as soon as I could. (32 years ago!) Now there are gay parades and a statue of Lenin in the Fremont District of Seattle.

I don't moderate the forums, I just try to keep everything working. But I think we're getting dangerously close to a political discussion and that's one thing that was decided early on, that we didn't want to have political, religious, philosophical debates here. I guess an occassional comment here and there might be ok, but no full blown discussions and I think if we go any further we might get there.
