I have inherited a Walther Model 9 SN 411558, with Crown over N proof marks. This is the early model Model 9, with plain grip(s) and blue enamel medallion grip screws.
The left grip must have been broken near the safety lever, because it is missing altogether, as is the left side blue medallion with the Walther logo. The right side is intact with the 6.35 medallion.
I purchased new grips from a mail order house, but they are the new vintage with the Walther ribbon along the bottom. They fit the frame, but I have no way to attach the left grip.
Does anyone know a source for the grip screws to repair my pistol? Ideally I would like to score some original grips for this SN, and in a perfect world I will find a left side blue medallion.
