Help! I have an 1886/93 R35 Carbine and can't figure out how to get the bolt out of it. Any help would be appreciated. Iquitos

Last post by 1886Lebel, related to Berthier: 'How to Disassemble and Reassemble the bolt on the Berthier' illustrated. Lebels and Berthiers share the same type of bolt (although not interchangeable)

I have met Patrick (1886Lebel) a few years ago down by Dayton. He is very knowable on the Lebel rifles. He had went to Camp Perry match that and used his Lebel.

You are right Rad,
Patrick is much more knowable than so-call 'experts' here in Europe.
he also is a leading reenactor of the 151 RI (151st Infantry Regiment) the regiment that was stationed in Verdun before and during WWI and held fast the first shock of the Battle of Verdun (Feb 21st to 19th Dec 1916). Their motto: "on ne passe pas" / "nobody shall pass"
