Next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4th and 5th will be the 5th annual meeting of Collectors here in Cleveland, Ms. It will be a fun get together, displays, food and fellowship. All are invited to come. If you need directions email me at "riceone@bellsouth.net" roy

If any of you can make it you will not be the least bit disappointed in the displays. I went a couple years ago and really enjoyed myself. But my finances are just too tight right now to go this year.

I'm half way tempted to come this year. I wanted to several years ago and couldn't get away. If I were to come, I'd leave after work on Friday, so I'd probably get in too late on Friday night to do much good. I could be there all day Saturday and Saturday night, until 10pm, when I've got to find internet access to do my radio show. I could then take my time and drive back on Sunday.

I forgot to mention........I don't have a single rifle from the Land of the Rising Sun in my collection. I came real close to buying one once, but didn't think I knew enough to pull the trigger. Reckon if I did make the trip that someone might have a decent rifle that maybe they've got two of that they might be willing to part with for a reasonable price? I mean after all, it might get another feller to catch the fever....

CLG it is not an exclusive Japanese show. there should be other types and countries represented. One of the motels should have internet access.

As a word of warning DO NOT stay at the Days Inn. I stayed there when I was there and they had roaches.

Oh yes, I know......but since I knew you would be there, there would be some Japanese rifles there also.

Thanks for the tip on the Days Inn. If I think I'm gonna make it, I'll get with you on directions, etc.

I thought I was talking to Roy. Obviously, I need to pay closer attention.

Coors, Everything 200 miles west, north and east was snowed in. There was about 8 or 9 that could not come. I've live here all my life and never seen two 5" snow one month apart and we had it this year. Next year should be good.

Yeah, I figured that if I made it, I might not get back, thus the reason I just stayed close to home. Maybe next year.
