This may sound kinda strange but my Father in law is looking for a set of artic mittens. the kind with rabbit fur lining that go all the way up to the elbows. you have any idea where I could find some?

Most of the mittens I see are of the style that go about halfway to your elbow, and I have seen the outer shell in beaver, polar bear,wolf, and even cowhide made by the locals. Usually the inner liner is mouton. Let me know if he would be interested in something like this, and I'll get some prices for you. Have an elder friend in one of the villages that may be able to sew something to your liking if you gave us some measurements to work with. These are sealskin, and I think, moosehide.

Hehe.....maybe I'm the only one, but they look like oven mitts. I'll bet they come in handy up there though.
