A friend who owns a gun shop showed me this one, that came into his shop the other day.
It's marked Gustloff Werke, Waffen, Suhl. (Thanks to the member that gave us a history-in-brief of this company.)
What strikes us as odd, this is a fine-quality double-barrel side-by-side, engraved and with double triggers; it has what looks like two firing pins, but one (on either side) is actually a loaded chamber indicator. It also has the Nazi Waffenampt stamp.
Would sporting-quality arms generally be so marked???
Any assistance greatly appreciated!
