Hi ! I collect all types of firearms. Primarily U.S. but I do find unique items interesting. I have acquired a Walther 22 cal. single shot. Heavy barrel. The rear sight is adjustable with a special tool which I do not have. Probably a key with a square socket that would fit over the adjusting screw?
The top of the barrel is marked first with a Walther banner, then Waffenfabrik Zella Meblis (Thur) on the left side of receiver are what looks like a crab, then an n with crown over, then Nitro in script. The bolt handle is at the rear of the receiver, and it appears that there was a safety at one time; as there is a square hole at the bottom of the bolt surface. I assume a previous owner took it apart and either lost the part or could not get it back in place?
Other that the missing safety? the rifle is in fine condition, high gloss blue, and no damage anywhere.
I need some help identifying the model? Date of production Ser #15XXX, and parts. I would like to replace the safety, even if I could get design drawings to have it machined? Also the sight key if it does exist? Thanks:confused: :dontknow: :D

:headbanger: I'll get some photos taken of the Walther, and I have a very nice Mauser 22 trainer that I will include in the photos.
