We'll, sometimes these can get tricky but I'm going to say a Model 55 Winchester in the takedown configuration.

Back in those days you could special order options on a standard gun and wind up with nearly another model like the 55. I wish I had one of the takedowns.:)

aaah, that's what i like about these. i know absolutely nothing about lever action rifles so it's always a good learning experience! thanks guys.

I have neve even heard of a Model 55. The action looks like my model 94's, except the take down part. Really interesting. Thanks for sharing.

That's why I said that they can be tricky because it is the same action as the 94. Also the take down feature was an option to begin with and then it was made standard a little later. You could get a model 94 with similar options but it would be a 94 with custom features.:D
