A Lucky Find

I went to an estate sale today and bought a .50 cal. ammo can filled with nuts and bolts for five bucks. Look what I found in the bottom of it wrapped in an oily cloth:

Its a Smith & Wesson .38 Hand Ejector Military and Police, 4th Change. From the serial number, I'd say it is from the early 1930s. It is in pretty good shape, nice and tight, and the action works well.

Definitely worth the five bucks!
