I recieved this svt-40 recently along with some other old military rifles. All of them were dirty nver cleaned well, still had cosmoline all in it. Maybe a good thing . The bore looks good. action is smooth now, and what ever kind of goop was on the stock is removed. Im pleased with the old girl.
