Marlin 1894 44 Mag Feeding Problem

I just acquired a Marlin Model 1894 Lever in 44 Rem Mag. When I put more
than 3 rounds in the magazine the shell will back out and force the loading
spring/gate out of the action while cycling the action. I have check the
tightness of all screws and all are very tight. I polished the carrier.
Any suggestions or ideas as to causes the shell to back out of the magazine
during the levering cycle.

I have the very same model and have had feed problems with the rounds and also in the past 2 weeks the loading spring screw has broken twice during ejection.:BangHead:

Living in France makes it difficult to contact Marlin but I believe that they do not have a very good After Sales Service. They have no e.mail address!
