Hi All!

I bought a cannon last Sunday, and haven't been able to find out much about it, including the maker's name. Approx. 14 in. barrel, the wheels are 11-1/2 in. diameter. Bore is 0.70 in. No markings except "BLACK POWDER ONLY" and "SPAIN" on barrel, which I believe is blued steel. Here is a photo:

Any info will be appreciated! Kent

Have a look here (http://www.ardesa.com/en/productos.php?wgo=28) Kent .

Looks like an Ardesa Napoleon III canon to me or a copy of one or maybe a kit.

Here the Mini Napoleon ( . 50 calibre ) 'Standard' one is 230€/$299 and the Napoleon III Luxe (.69 calibre ) 633€/$823
You can also get a kit http://ardesa.com/en/detalles.php?wgo=46&wval=115&wbrand=2
Looking at your picture I would suggest that you have a NIII Standard as you say your canon is .70. I suspect it is actually .69.

Thank you. I gave about half of retail for it, not too bad a deal. Kent
