Well see if I can figure this out.
Well that seems quite useless. Pics in my own files exceed file size. Trying to add from my shutterfly account(there my jpeg files are well within limits) it tells me the URL is invalid file.
Was intending to post pics of my 1911 and K31.
Well my heart was in the right place.

I'm not sure what we've got the file limit set for, but I know we have some pretty big ones on here already. I don't know if they uploaded them or if they simply inserted an image, which is the way most people do it as they pics are normally hosted somewhere already.
Let me know the url that it reports as bad and I'll check it out for you.

coorslightguy. I tried the copy paste method in the section for url and clicked download. It came as invalid file type.

I was just getting good at posting pics on Yockeys site on ezboard. Now gotta figure it out all over again.

Yep.........Here's the reason it didn't work. The link is so long that it was truncated in the example you had. What I did to fix it was click on the link you provided (i.e. I went to the page where the pic is located) and then I copied the link from the address bar of my browser.
Then I went to enter a new message, I clicked on the yellow icon for "insert image" and pasted the url into the space provided (making sure to delete the "http://" at the beginning so that it wouldn't be entered twice).
The double entry of "http://" could have been a problem too.

.....you're right CLG...thats what I found....it has an 'http' already in there-so when you paste in yours, there are 2 http's.....just have to delete the first one out and it works fine...

Very nice!
In Photobucket, I can just copy and paste the url right into the message and I don't need to use the 'picture' prompt.......... same for a link to a web-site just copied and pasted & you'll notice I've done a lot of em.......:hiding:
