I want to THANK.......... Dog for covering for me on Saturday.......... and a special THANKS to Mario, for stepping up and running the show for 4 days!!! You guys put a little different slant on the section and I'm sure the troops enjoyed the change.......... :grinning-thumbsup: :grinning-thumbsup: and I thank you both a million times over for keeping the section running!! You're both the GREATEST....... (well at least Dog is...;) :D )

Sorry Guy's........... it's boring ole me back at the helm of the "Good Ship Mystery Mauser" and we're heading back out on to the mystery ocean.........:headbanger: :eek: :grinning-thumbsup:

Boy, its getting late, so I guess I'll throw in my two cents worth...
How about a Stevens Tip Up Rifle by the J. Stevens Arms Co. of Chicopee Falls, Mass.? I have no idea what the caliber is though :dontknow:

I do know that is one nice looking rifle.

Very........ Very......... GOOD!!

Stevens Model no. 2 Tip-Up single shot rifle in centerfire cal. "25-20SS" and mfg. approx. in 1888. The Tip-Up series was first introduced in 1870 and mfg. in several variations untill discontinued in 1895.

I am impressed. I would not have even thought of J.Stevens. I had Sharps on my mind for some reason. A really good one.:grinning-thumbsup:
