Rohm .22 short cal. pistol

this revolver was given to me as a gift. I was wondering if there is any way of knowing the general worth, and if there are any parts missing...possibly any way of telling the date of manufacture? stamped with ROHM GMBH SONTHEIM/BRZ CAL 22 SHORT.... Frame stamped...911441...Cylinder stamped....911441.. Appears to have white plastic grips with ROHM on one side, and RG10 on the other.. thank you all for any help

Re: Rohm .22 short cal. pistol

It appears to be the same as my Burgo 22short.
Date of mfr? I don't know but I keep checking old copies of Gun Digest and Shooter's Bible for an approximate date.
Parts? Appears to be complete except that on the side facing you, with the loading gate, there should be the ejector rod assembly. It is missing on mine.
$? I paid $25 for my Burgo. A recent email from the NRA states that NRA members now have free access to the Blue Book of Gun Values databases through the NRA's website. Hope this helps. Jack

Re: Rohm .22 short cal. pistol

Thanks Jack, will check NRA Bluebook..found a parts warehouse (internet order only) and a few posts on other sites about the gun..ejector rod was screwed into the end of the cylinder rod..($10 repacement). From what I gathered, other than sentimental value, the gun is worthless.(unless buyback program pays). seems to be too dangerous to fire. site for parts is www.gun-parts.com if anyone needs hard to find parts!

I had one of these years ago which I gave to my mother to kieep in her nightstand. They were made of what I call "pot metal".The Saturday night special of the 1960's.
I shot it some.It was OK but no tack driver of course.
